This superb Islamic gold ring dates to the the early 20th century, It is set with an octagonal flat cut Rutile quartz intaglio with bevelled edges. The stone is engraved with decorative Nastalīq calligraphy featuring stylised dots and stars. The heavy gold ring is unmarked but tests as 14 karats.
