Art Deco Canisters Bakelite Knob Mid Century Kitchen Jars Cream Red 40s 50s

Set of Two Nesting Canisters. Rounded tins in cream color metal with red semi-circle Bakelite knobs. Red stripe on the base of the lid is mostly worn off the larger one. The half circle handles are authentic Bakelite; they rotate for desired placement. No brand backstamp. SIZE: 5.5” H (not including knob), 4.5” diameter 6.5” H (not including knob), 5.5” diameter CONDITION: Canisters show various signs of wear consistent with age and use, including scratches, discoloration, and so on. The Bakelite knobs are in excellent shape - bright and free of chips. One is darker, the other brighter than the other.
