hillaryshouston @brittanybao I hate when someone just comments "authentic?" It's insulting. I sell only luxury items and have never had a return for authenticity concerns, yet every time I list a new item I have 20 posts questioning "authintic?". I feel your pain darlin. brittanybao @hillaryshouston i do understand being concerned, it’s mostly when I’ve already answered ‘yes’ to the first ‘authentic’ comment, then get 5 more beneath if🤦🏼‍♀️ Do your luxury brand items get flagged often? I swear i get an email ever day saying a listing of mine was removed, only to appeal it and having posh apologize for the mistake and relist!

brittanybao @hillaryshouston As much as i understand wanting authentic, i will never understand people wanting to call out anything Chanel as fake- especially when it’s obvi the real deal! Anyway, thanks for feeling my pain lol! You have a great closet btw😍 xo

nycdiamondgurl I feel your pain as well it happens to me lots I just removed all of my Chanel stuff I'm just so tired of people doing this and it's so insulting when people say you have so many Chanel items I just can't believe they're real??? voguerogue1 Hi. I'm new to posh & one for whom luxury is a necessity. I also take the time to go through their listings & help Poshmark with reports from other Poshers (replicas & mistagged, etc). Some are super easy to spot others take a practiced eye. I knew yours were the real deal the minute I laid my eyes on them. Chanel is all about the details. (Remember that when I ask for a deal, alright???😉) Keep doing what you do so very well & leave the rest to us. Your fellow Posher have your back!

Honestly, even more than just the comments questioning authenticity- those I’m ok answering to make a buyer feel more comfortable- what is the most frustrating about selling luxury is people are constantly flagging my listings!

brittanybao @voguerogue1 It’s likely mostly people whom aren’t actually familiar with the brand, people who see a price point they for whatever reason believe is too low (what many don’t realize is most Chanel earrings aren’t more than $500 and the majority of listings on posh are asking for WAY above retail!), and the worst is I’ve noticed sooo often is a listing will be flagged shortly after I’ve declined someone’s low offer😑

voguerogue1 @brittanybao well my friend, you just let me take care of those"flagged" listings. Buy you wouldn't believe how bad the replicas are. If you can't afford true luxury brands, there's good, quality brands out there. Why would people even want fakes?

lblack13 @brittanybao - I don't get offended when people ask me. There r SO MANY fakes out there. CHANEL*LV* HERMES*PRADA*GUCCI I would guess that 80% of bags listed are replicas. I have been burned twice but I got my money back. "It's Vintage" "Selling for friend" "Purchased at estate sale" "It was a gift" ...when I see those phrases I know it's probably not Authentic. 😒 THANK YOU FOR HAVING AUTHENTIC ITEMS!!
