I had some trouble with the hip measurement as you can see from the back there is flexibility in the waist with the elastic and with that the hips, as there is fabric draping. I took two measurements - one with the back fabric draped and one with it pulled flat across. I have two in black, another in mauve and this blue is up for grabs as I wear it the least - just twice that I recall and I purchased it NWT. No known flaws. Truly an incredible dress. It has been written about and celebrated all over the Internet. I sure do wish Arc'teryx would make it again!
