dking8 @pamski44 the chest, like the tag says, is 40". Unfortunately I do not know the material. It is not waterproof, but it is a great mid weight soft shell.

dking8 @weedline83 I'm not sure - sorry about that! It's a retired style, meaning they have changed this jacket since it was originally purchased. It's lightweight but thick enough to keep out the cold air. Truly a great jacket that keeps its quality.
