paulette_hodge I hope you don't mind my asking. if the sweater has ever been washed in anyway by hand or otherwise, possibly causing it to shrink? I am asking because I recently made a purchase of an Irish sweater described as as like new. When I received it, the sweater had very obviously been washed in quite warm water, causing it to shrink significantlly, especially in length. The wool had a matted look which made all of the workmanship impossible to appreciate.
