Applicator Glass Lidded Doctors Office Jar

This is a glass jar that look like it would be found in your Dr's office. I don't think it was made for the medical profession, it was found in the bathroom at a high-end estate sale. The writing on the front says Merco. The lid is labeled as being stainless. It is in overall nice shape. The jar is about 7" tall and 4" wide.
