@armurray unfortunately yes. The Apple leather cases are prone to scratches. If you were to buy a new one you would experience the same issue

Are the scratches superficial where you can just see them, or are they deep scratches where there is leather missing?

@lcerym they’re superficial it’s not deep where there’s bits and pieces are missing. Only downside to these Apple leather cases
