@markj2785 it is one of the users on my account previous phone. Due to the fact that I cannot get the phone to see any information I am unsure about any locks....

@rcodett okay, well is it possible to get the IMEI numbers from the phone? It isn’t really necessary to get into the phone for the IMEI - it should tell me if it’s locked to the owner which is my only concern

@markj2785 I have no way of obtaining the IMEI if I can't get into the phone. I do not have the original box containing that information

@rcodett thanks for getting back. Sometimes the iPhone sim tray will have a number on it if you take it out and get a picture of it OR

• Tap on this icon to display your device's

@markj2785 the phone is stuck on the screen in which the photos show.... I can't get to any other screens despite troubleshooting or pressing any other buttons...... and the SIM card slot does not indicate the IMEI ..

@rcodett rcodett Were you able to remove the SIM tray? The IMEl number is usually printed on the SIM tray
If you eject the SIM tray and look for a series of numbers on the actual physical plastic SIM tray you should see the numbers

OR
Connect the iPhone to a computer with iTunes (on Windows or macOS Mojave and earlier) or Finder (on macOS Catalina and later).

And Once your the iPhone is recognized, click on the the phone icon to see its summary, which includes the IMEl number!
If none of this can be done then I’d be trying to make a lower offer for this gamble
