Apple Green Square Stone Pendant Necklace on Natural Brown Leather Cord

This unique apple green stone pendant necklace has significant horizontal striations in black and light gray adding texture and color. The color is similar to a granny smith apple but does take on more yellow tones in bright sunlight. The natural stone is not polished for a matte finish and it has visible texture on its surface. Note the diagonal white marks on front and back (see photos). The square/rectangular stone is drilled for stringing and hangs on raw natural brown sueded leather cord. With a tied leather loop and sterling silver clasp for closure. The stone measures 0.8 inches wide by one inch long and is relatively thin and flat. The leather strand is 16 inches but could be reknotted for shorter lengths. I purchased the stone as a small art gallery in southeastern Utah and the rock is likely local to that area; I don’t know the name of the stone. It is in excellent preowned condition.
