ayla_b @koonsjw This is what Apple said: We’re sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us. Your trying to scam people

koonsjw @ayla_b 1st of all that’s very rude to accuse someone of Ayla Secondly no I’m not my company bought too many and asked me to sell them for them

ayla_b @koonsjw it's not registered with Apple, it means that someone asked for a replacement and was supposed to send the broken one in, the same one your trying to sell

frankiefrazier @koonsjw @ayla_b hi guys! Koonsjw she was just being cautious. I had the same thing happen and Apple told me the same. They advised me not to purchase but did tell me that if the person I was dealing with was trustworthy to urge them to go to an apple store (or certified apple store such as Best Buy) and see what the issue was as they had purchased them from someone else (they have a resale store).

frankiefrazier @koonsjw @ayla_b This may be what has happened to your employer. True, not everyone is a scammer, but your employer may have gotten a raw deal or it may be something that can be corrected. Prior to this happening to me, I purchased a pair from someone on Facebook that provided a good serial number.

frankiefrazier @koonsjw @ayla_b Unfortunately they were great fakes... once opened I found multiple issues and Apple confirmed they were knock offs. ! The seller refuses to refund me money and so now my son has a crappy Christmas present. So Im sure she didn’t mean to be rude but when there are red flags she has to be cautious. Be safe out there everyone! (Sorry i had to break this message up)
