Porquier-Beau? PB X mark Breton style. Charming, rustic faience tin-glazed pottery plate in the Quimper style. Subject is a pretty crabby looking woman, possibly a Breton. Mark on the back could be an early Porquier-Beau Quimper mark, but I’m not positive about the attribution. Was $75, now $35! Good condition. Visible wear. Loss of glaze along the edge exposing the clay. Fine crazing under the glaze. Flaw/loss of glaze in the center makes it look like woman is holding a spoon. Air bubbles and glaze imperfections.
