Antique cotton Log Cabin Barn Raising patchwork quilt

Measures 80" x 80". Photographed on a queen-size bed. This is a sturdy and heavy quilt. 100 log cabin blocks, each measuring 8" x 8" (= 1300 pieces). Machine-pieced, hand-quilted on the diagonal. The backing is an ecru/pink floral fabric which is wrapped around to the front and hand-stitched to form a 1/4" border on three sides. The backing fabric has diffuse darker areas that do not come through to the front. When we bought this quilt we soaked it appropriately in quilt soap, laid it out flat to dry, and the darker areas remained. We've included enlarged closeup photos of the backing, although the darker areas are more visible "in person". In excellent condition - no rips, stains, tears, repairs. We have not used this quilt; on display only in our climate-controlled, smoke-free home.
