Antique carved ivory elephant necklace & earring set - incredible detail!

An amazing find - a perfectly matched antique ivory necklace & earring set! This treasure probably dates from the Art Deco era (approx 1930) and is an impeccable example of artisan work. No chips or defects at all! Necklace is 18” long with ivory screw clasp. Focal piece of the elephant & bead dangle is approximately 1 inch long. The 12 individual elephants circling the necklace are approx 0.75 inches tall by 0.5 inches wide. The earrings feature two elephants atop and intricately carved basket base. The ivory earrings measure 1.5 inches long x 0.5 inches wide. They are currently a screw back earring, as was the norm s long ago when these were made. Conversion to pierced earrings would be a very easy & simple change. A truly exotic accessory for any outfit!
