Antique butterfly wing brooch

Unique butterfly wing vintage brooch in fair condition for its age. As this is an antique brooch, the gold finish shows a bit of wear as seen on photos,, but still a lovely collectible brooch. Depicts person in gondola with city backdrop and lamppost. The colors have an iridescent quality depending on position held...with blue and lavender water and sky and black painted glass overlay. I was told this is a butterfly wing brooch which was popular from 1920s to 1960s. The design is reverse painted on the back of the dome, and the butterfly wings give the piece its iridescent beautiful color.. I didn't open the back to see the interior material and how this was done so can not verify... Smoke free home.
