This large wrought iron medallion is so unique, striking, and quite old. Measures 14” by 15”. Hand forged by a skilled artisan, likely in Spain, Mexico or France. The intricate scrollwork is attached to a central circle with rivets, evidencing both its age and likely provenance. An impressive decorative object ideal as Rustic Wall Decor (indoor or outdoor) - I love sculptural antique salvage as art! Ideal for use as a Plant Stand OR Trivet - would look amazing on a big farmhouse wood table or kitchen counter.
