ekalda What's the story with this violin? Where did you get it and who used it? Violins really open up the older they are. What I mean is that the tone improves dramatically due to the wood aging. I'm curious about your violin. :)

ekalda Oh one of my friends could look at it. We are all professional musicians. I play flute so I know nothing about violins. But it's our job as musicians to save instruments. Are there any marking through the F holes that you can take photos of? The F holes are those scroll markings on the body.

damonmaconi @ekalda that's the only place I could see some writing but it was of someone that repaired it once before and that's it . I can take a picture of it and put it on here.
