There's some wear to the gold under the center of the back, where Unseen while worn. Repousse is very hard to hold its shape over 100 years old and this beauty maintains its Gorgeous shape without dents. Repousse is an Ancient Technique (possibly since 3000 BC!) that are still done in Hand Crafting , the same way they were done back then. In simple terms, Repousse means to push forward or push up; it refers to the metal being raised by hammering from the back to create dimension on the front. It's an ART of the Patient!
