Antique Victorian Open Work Diamond Gold Tone Sash Brooch Engraved "CP" - Beautiful bloomed gold finish on what is likely gold filled, but it is not marked. The leaves are different colors perhaps due to the age of this sash pin or large brooch. It is diamond shaped measuring 3 3/8 inches wide and 2 inches tall at the center. The small oval shield is elaborately hand engraved with the initials CP. It closes with a simple C clasp and is not signed. Based on the Art Nouveau open work scroll design, it is likely to date from the late 1890s. It measures 3 3/8 inches wide and 2 inches tall.
