Antique Victorian Locket gold tone lake house scene 1800s vintage engraved

Beautiful antique locket pendant from the Victorian era, likely 1880s! It has an engraved lake house with dock scenic design on both sides and a blank shield that your jeweler can engrave with an initial. Pocket watch styling. The hinge is good and it snaps shut and stays shut. Weathered gold tone metal with lots of patina. There is a tiny space between the sides when it closes, nothing major. At one point it likely held a tin type photo and a lock of hair, now inside is empty for your special mementos. Pendant only, no chain. Measures approx 1 3/4" from top of loop to bottom of locket.
