Antique Victorian Dressing Gown with Remarkable Construction and Detail

Purchased from a Belgian antiques dealer, this Victorian dressing gown (circa 1890) features beautiful construction and details. Fabric is cream cotton/linen with ribbon-like pink and green design as well as cream embroidery. Front (second pic) has pin tucks and crochet trim. Fastens at chest with hook and eye closures, has muslin lining at chest, also with hook and eye closure. Back (first pic) is particularly exquisite with crisscross design, pin tuck pleats and crochet trim. Sleeves are intricately ruched. A-line silhouette. Excellent condition. Single stain on upper lining (last pic).
