Antique Victorian 1800s Mourning Corset Blouse Bodice Top Black Small

Beautiful antique Victorian black mourning corset/blouse/top. Boned corset type interior. Hand sewn. Overall good antique condition with some flaws. Wearable item, although, of course any item this old is a bit fragile, so it would likeley be for special occasions/photos, re-enactment type wear. Buttons up easily. You can see some wear in some spots in the photos. There are some small holes on the front near the buttons, which i think could be easily camouflaged by darkening the hole with a marker, but would rather leave that touch-up to a collector. There is some fraying, mostly on the cuffs. The blouse is a small size - measuring across the waist, closed, it measures approx 12 inches side to side, and underarm to underarm is approx 16 inches. I measured the length down the back from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the points at the tuxedo type back and to the point it is approx 18 inches. Of course the blouse is shorter than that, but that is the length to the bottom point. It could be worn as a short jacket, or worn buttoned. It is a lovely old item from a local vintage/antiquarian clothing collection.
