jenniemramey @debbyjones717 the original clasp broke so I replaced it with a pull slide clasp. the main part of the bracket is 2" whit a slight curve and the chain is 8" total each side is 4"

jenniemramey @juliekattke you should be able to see the whole thing it is over 75 years old. the original clasp broke so I replaced it with a slide clasp the main part is 2" with a slight curve and chain is 4" on each side total 8" chain. the bracket is 10" total if you remove the slide clasp and lay it straight. I don't wish to remove it as it is hard to get it back on

juliekattke @jenniemramey ok- I would love to see another picture of the whole thing, with the new clasp. You don’t have to remove the clasp. I totally understand your concern over doing that.

jenniemramey @debbyjones717 slide clasp the original one broke so I removed it and put the slide one on. it's easier to use with the new clasp you can make it as tight or loss as you want
