Antique Silk Camisole, Corset Cover, Pale Pink with Lace and Rosette Applique

Beautiful antique camisole, made of shell pink silk and delicate embroidered lace. Trimmed with ribbons to cinch the neckline, and detailed with two small roses - one pink, one blue. Tiny shell buttons down the front. In excellent, gently worn antique condition, with very minor signs of wear. I noticed two small age spots, some very mild yellowing of the lace in certain areas, a few “stretch marks” in the silk, and a small, conveniently hidden tear in the silk along the very bottom hem. I say convenient, because it is not a particularly damning place to find a tear, and also because it allows an access point to remove the old tape and replace it with elastic for more of a cinched look. Remnant of a small paper tag is still attached to the lace, I will leave removal up to the buyer. Approximate measurements Pit to pit: 19in Length: 16.5in This item is part of a large collection that was stored in a trunk for many years, and carries the expected “musty antique” scent. As with all antiques, it shows signs of wear and age. Larger flaws will be noted in description, however, there may be additional small marks / holes / discoloration present.
