Antique Sevres Handpainted Keepsake Box With Ormolu Clasp

For sale is a very high quality antique pocelain handpainted keepsake box with SEVRES mark on the bottom. The box is a vivid yellow with scattered florals in black and blues with green trim. On the lid is a detailed floral on a black medallion surrounded by Sevres "celeste blue" outer border. There is ormolu band around the top of the box and the bottom of the lid which fastens with a floral clasp. The inside of the box is white with scattered florals. The shape of the box is rounded on the sides and top of the lip which is unique. The piece is very old and shows wear on bottom which contains remnant of green felt (probably to prevent scratches on wood furniture). The lid is not entirely flush on the sides as shown in the pictures. There is one minor very small ding on backside of box as shown one of the last pictures. The inside of the box shows some rust around the ormolu. The hinge on the lid is intact. The bottom is about 3.5" and the widest part of the box is about 4.5" with the lid about 4".
