@dukehassett I collect Seth Thomas clocks. This appears to be in beautiful condition. These are notoriously tricky to ship because of the fragile chime rods. Can you look in the back to see if this has a locking/spacing mechanism for protecting the rods? I have many other questions.

@dukehassett How do you plan to prepare this clock, especially the chimes, for shipment? (I can offer guidance if needed.) Will you double box it with plenty of padding? Do you have a receipt for the recent servicing of the movement?

@snowmaven I once had 20 French. English and American Clocks in my living room when I owned my home in Philadelphia. Had them each overhauled and they were mint. Regretfully fellow designers and dealers , such as me, decided the market fell out and will never return in my life time. Though I was fortunate to sell my original. One of the first Hershede 96 inch 9 tube grandfather clock. 20k. Had I waited today’s markets between 6/7k.

That said. I have kept a few of my excellent clocks and the one you are interested in is held on an American Chest with an Amazon early important painting above, in my bedroom foyer. However,I am re-doing the space, except the carpet which is amazing and one of my favorites. So I am moving a round French Brevette.
