Antique Rusty Sad Iron Colebrookdale Iron Co PA USA W/Removeable Wood Handle

Delightfully rustic, this essential decorative object is surely destined to be a cherished laundry decoration for years to come- or decor in a country living room, farmhouse decor, or other rustic decorating scene. One of the most fascinating sad irons I've come across, the wood handle is actually removable! (See photos.) This rusty antique iron was manufactured by the Colebrookdale Iron Company in Boyertown, PA. This measures approximately 6.5" long, 3 1/8" wide, and 5" tall and is apparently their "C" model as shown in one area. Circa 1900. From a smoke-free, fragrance-free, feline-friendly home.
