Antique Russian Brass Spring Loaded Candle Holders w/Etched Cranberry Globes

This is a gorgeous pair of antique Russian brass candle holders. From my research, the "H I" on the bases are the Imperial Monogram. Other markings represent a factory in Moscow established in 1833, the official suppliers of the court of Nicholas I, Emperor of Russia from 1825-1855. The cranberry shades and glass prisms may not be original to the candle holders, but they look beautiful together! The beautiful etched glass shades are in amazing condition with no chips or cracks. The shade on the left does have some color loss on the inside of the shade, which is barely noticable looking from the outside. Shade on the right has very slight color loss on the inside. The glass prisms have no chips or cracks. The brass spring mechanism does not seem to be working. At least, I haven't been able to move it. Approximate measurements: 18" H x 4.75"" W at top of glass shades Base diameter is 4.5" Glass shades are approx 8.25" H * A word on price. All vintage or collectable items are priced by using comps. I search the internet for comparable items and arrive at the price listed.
