Antique Ruby Ring

I purchased this ring in Tangier at a bazaar full of antiques, mostly English silver and Moroccan lanterns that were very old so I was surprised to see some rings. I liked this one because it looked a bit medieval. This tested as ruby and has natural inclusions in it so I am fairly confident that it is natural but I am not an expert. There is a 925 stamp inside of the band. This ring would be much cuter on someone without little stumpy fingers lol As with anything, feel free to ask questions or even buy to try! I would completely understand that.
