Antique Ringtons Tea Merchants Newcastle upon Tyne butter dish/cheese dish

11"x 8" x 7" Ringtons has been delivering tea & their wares in the UK since 1907. This is a large cheese or butter keep briefly distributed by Ringtons in the early 1900s. Its somehow made it's way to the USA. It is a glossy fine china wedged shaped dish with a gorgeous cobalt flow blue hand painted iris design on the exterior. The handle is twisted and is also blue. The bottom tray is ornate and also has the flow blue colors. Both pieces are accented in light touches of gold. No chips or cracks. Big piece at 4 lbs.
