Antique Portrait Young Girl After Ferdinand Schauss in Elaborate Eastlake Frame

Wonderful antique oil portrait on canvas of a young girl, signed by the artist (Allan Davidson) in the lower right hand corner. The painting is housed in an elegantly carved wooden antique Eastlake frame, befitting the artwork. The original wooden back is intact, complete with square nails. There is light wear, both to the painting and frame but I think it presents nicely. It has been one of my favorite pieces. ** After the 19th century painting of Gretel by Ferdinand Schauss.
