Inherited - made circa 1920's. "One Lady's platinum dinner ring containing an approximate 1.50 carat old European cut center diamond and 50 old European single cut diamonds ranging in size from .01 to .03 carats each. Center stone is of fine white color and very clean internally containing only one minute natural inclusion. Center diamond is bezel set; therefore only an approximation can be given. Today's Replacement Value - $11,300." This description is from a 1978 appraisal.
