Antique Ornate Wood Carved Umbrella Parasol Handle Bamboo Style

Antique wood, possibly bamboo but looks like another type of wood that is carved to look like bamboo? Could be bamboo or mahogany. But I really think it’s bamboo. Opening hole is approximately is 1/4” and slightly more like adding 1/16” to that. See pics for measurements. Please see my many other listings for unique things. This is good for a project upscale or umbrella handle replacement. This was known to be in my family for over 65 years, so I’m guessing it’s much older than that.
