Antique Moonstone Bezel Ring

A lovely and very unique moonstone ring. Longevous fans may recognize this piece as it is from my personal collection. It features a glowing oval cut high dome cabochon moonstone which is bezel set in a sleek minimalist gold setting. One of the best quality moonstones I've come across, high dome with great blue body color and blue flash. The moonstone is very fine quality, clear and beautiful, with minor surface wear that is only visible when looking very closely. It ranges from clear to pale blue depending on the lighting. Such a lovely and enchanting stone, like a drop of iridescent water on the finger! The bezel is finely made and the stone is set low to the hand on a thin round band. The smooth bezel makes the ring versatile and easy to wear--no prongs to catch on sweater sleeves, hair and pockets! The stone and bezel are antique, converted from an antique pin. I had my jeweler add a gold shank to make the most beaitufl and simple bezel ring. The bezel is silver and the band is 14k gold. It is currently around size 7 US. It could easily be resized smaller or larger by my expert bench jeweler; please contact me for more information. This ring is beautiful on the hand and comfortable to wear.
