Antique Metal School House Bell with Wooden Handle- Primitive Farmhouse, Rustic

Antique metal schoolhouse bell with a wooden handle. Unsure of its exact age, but it's a much older piece. The handle looks hand-carved and worn down. Unfortunately, the original clapper is missing. Approx measures 6.5" high x 3.75" in diameter The story on this piece: It was pulled out of an old one-room schoolhouse built in the 1860s while Abraham Lincoln served in office. The schoolhouse had been neglected for many years and recently had to be torn down. But before doing so, several antique items were rescued from the school. One of them being this bell. We are unsure of its age and at what point the bell was being used during the running of the small schoolhouse. All items are carefully packed and shipped.
