Antique Meiji Period Japanese gilt Shakudo Fan Brooch Beautiful little antique brooch shaped like a fan It's made of metal that has a blackened finish, with raised gold gilt peacock birds, hibiscus, leaves design. It has the old style C clasp and tube hinge. It was likely made in the mid 1800s to early 1900s. It has a nice weighty feel for its size.
