Pretty little black lotus serving bowl, I never use it because I worry I will chip it. So there's no chips, scratches or cracks. Approximately 7-7.5 inches. Kitties always steal my measuring tape. Blossoms are similar to cherry or dogwood. Edges are gold. I don't know if it is real gold, but very pretty. Marked Japan on the bottom. Black pottery.
