Antique Late 19th Century Milking Stool

This charming stool has been in our family since early 1920s, My grandmother who was petite carried it from room to room to be able to reach items. Purchased at an antique shop outside of Philadelphia. We later used it as a foot stool. It has scuffs and bumps, but it is hefty and very sturdy. I cannot say who crafted it or where it was made.
