Antique Knitted Outer Wear Made Under NRA Blue Eagle Maroon Swim Wear Guarnited 100% Wool Attached Shorts National Recovery Administration This amazing 1930's piece is from our large collection of antique and vintage clothing. The NRA Blue Eagle label dates from 1933-1935 only. It was a voluntary program covering many consumer goods and was initiated by FDR. It was declared unconstitutional in 1935. This is the famous ‘Blue Eagle’ label, seen only 1933-35 in the U.S. This label can be very handy for dating 1930s garments, accessories and even patterns. The Blue Eagle "WE DO OUR PART". This piece is considered museum quality. It is in near excellent condition. Length: 28" Thin shoulder straps approx. 1 1/2" wide. Razor cut out back. Straps across the chest area: 12" Cut out at the waist. Attached shorts stitched in approx.: 10" long Fabulous, clean labels.
