Antique Knights of Pythias, Pythian Sister Silver Medallion & Chain

The Knights of Pythias was a fraternal organization that lasted through most of early american history with a castle even being built in Illinois. Women of pythias were one of the few organizations that "allowed" women their own fraternal order,therefore their own adornments. The medal was a sign of membership. Chain on left needs reattached to medal, I do not want to damage,it is simple but intricate. I have not cleaned it, but looks good. Historical significance and silver worth. All hand crafted sterling.
