Antique Japanese lacquer box document hand painted

Antique, hand painted lacquer covered document box. 15 X 12 X 3 1/2 inches. Lined with hand stenciled paper. Dark green with pretty hand painted birds & foliage. CONDITION: As-IS- Top has a split in the top and in two corners & two small what look like sports of paint. Bottom has damage to the finish along edges, & a start of a split. Inside has light soil and some water stains along top edge. With some TLC, would be very attractive.
