Antique James Deacon & Son Silver Plate Condiment Cruet Set

This is a lovely antique silver plate and crystal cruet set by James Deacon & Sons. This turn-of-the-20th-century condiment set is quite striking with its glass and silver plate containers. The swirl design in the glass is reminiscent of Baccarat's swirl pattern. Condition: This set of four bottles do not all match but all beautifully fit together well. A small area of silver plating has worn off on top and under base. The mustard pot hides this on top. Manufacturer marks on base: JD & S JAMES DEAKIN & SONS Castor Sets are containers that are used to hold salt, pepper, sugar, mustard, oil, or other spices. A very lovely set for Victoriana collectors.
