Antique Howard & Co Sterling Silver 3 Compartment Stamp Box #8633

Antique sterling silver stamp box by Howard & Co, circa 1893. Howard & Co of NY, NY from 1866-1922, created this stamp box with 3 interior compartments. Rope edging details, repousse swirl design on the lid with an ornate monogram. Monogram appears to be MWDD. Measures approx 3 7/8" wide, 2 1/8" long, 1/2" high. Weighs approx 124.5g, 80dwt. Marked HOWARD & CO NEW YORK STERLING 1893 on the bottom, marked 214 on inside lid. Very nice condition with some light surface scratching, some tarnish, and a few pin dents on lid, small dents on bottom. Will come packaged in a gift box or pouch (when possible) and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. CL113020
