Antique Hippo Illustrations (set of 2)

Set of two antique illustrations of male and female hippopotamus. Black and antiqued bronze (faux finish) decorative frames (unknown if original to illustrations). Frames have normal wear consistent with age. Female hippo has a crack in the glass (lower left corner- see photo). Each picture measures 8.5” x 10.5”. Purchased in a London antique shop.
