Antique Hand Painted Coral Apron

This apron is a relic from America's long gone days of nostalgia: the inimitable 1950s. It's coral, sheer, pure cotton featuring hand painted daisies adorning the entire front, with tiny,white and metallic gold threaded lace edges the waist and hemlines. As shown in pics, waistline is slightly gathered all around to produce the 'flouncy' look. But, alas, this one has no pockets...but the sheer beauty and artisanism it displays make up for that! This was owned by a Portland celeb....can't divulge details-legal stuff. She was a pioneer of our coffee-loving spirits, here in Stumptown, Oregon. This piece is truly special.
