Antique Haitian Doll

Antique ESTATE SALE FIND: VINTAGE 1950'S RARE CHILD DOLL BY A STUDENT AT THE ECOLE HOLY TRINITY MUSIC ART SCHOOL IN PORT AU PRINCE HAITI. Handmade Doll Haiti’s Girl Tall Vintage Dolls Folk Art . PERIOD UNIFORM CLOTH CLOTHES AND BODY WITH CERAMIC HEAD. EXCELLENT EXAMPLES OF HAITIAN DOLL MAKING. Her head /chest is made of what appears to be a painted plaster type material (this is my guess from the white chip ) Her body is stuffed with what feels like a sawdust or straw. however her arms and legs are stuffed with a cotton or fabric. She is dressed in a handmade outfit that as far as I can tell is not removable. Condition :the front of her hair shows a white from the black being rubbed over time. Damage on nose. The back has a small chip and a few specks of paint flecks missing. Please See photos.
