In the 1890s, the American illustrator, Charles Dana Gibson, took pen and ink and drew pretty, poised patrician girls who soon became known as the Gibon Girls. Some people call these prints as having a droll humor. This particular print is uncaptioned, and shows a Gibson girl having drinks, perhaps with a suitor. I did not open the back of the frame as handmade but based on research this is from a book of Gibson's work printed in 1907. It has been cut and framed as the original book had a large area around the print and measured 15 x 10 based on research.
Size: Frame 11 wide by 9 tall - 7/8 inch thick - visible area is 9.5 wide by 7.5 tall.
Condition: Very Good
