Antique German Woodcarving

Shows a Bavarian man in traditional clothing 1946- hand crafted beautiful wood carving in folk art style with hand lettered label at the bottom indicating Darmstadt 1946. At this time, American occupied Bavaria in post WWII and it is logical that this was a souvenir brought back by a WWII vet. Found in Atlanta estate sale. Closet closing in June due to terminal illness diagnosis
