Antique German Lusterware Serving Plate Platter W Songbirds Handpaint & Transfer Beautiful, antique fine bone China German lusterware serving plate/platter. Central design is a transfer featuring a songbird couple amongst flowers and foliage. Deep, violet purple luster handpainted accents are strategically placed over the embossed flowers and leaves around the circumference of the plate. 1 & 1/2 inches high with a 10 & 5/8 inch diameter. This piece is in overall excellent condition for its age and prior usage. There is minor fading on the transfer, and typical scratches and scuffs on the rim of the underside - no apparent scuffs or scratches on the front or sides of the plate. No chips or cracks. All glassware and other breakables are double boxed for shipping to ensure safe arrival to their new homes.
