Antique French Gunmetal Chatelaine Coin Purse

Incredible antique, circa 1870s to 1900s, french chatelaine coin purse. The design is a woven mesh crafted from real gunmetal, signed. It features a kiss closure and a ring loop on one side which was used to attach to a chain and worn around the waist, mostly worn by the house staff at the time. Something like this would definitely have been used in the Gilded Age era. Condition: Very Good, given its age. The mesh is intact and attached to its frame. The closure works perfectly.
